The most beautiful tulip fields in the Netherlands bloom in the Bollenstreek (flower region). This region is located between the major cities in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam metropolis and close to the seaside resorts of Katwijk and Noordwijk. The region is easily accessible by car and during the tulip season (20 March – 11 May 2025), special Keukenhof buses will be running from various cities and seaside resorts. By car to Keukenhof and tulip fields
The Bollenstreek (flower region) is centrally located between the cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam and is easily accessible by car. The best place to park is in the large car park of Keukenhof Flower Park. A day ticket parking costs only € 10,00. (Only in combination with a Keukenhof ticket) You have to reserve the parking place in advance. You can navigate to the following address:

By public transport or shuttle bus to Keukenhof and the tulip fields
During the tulip season (from 20 March to 11 May 2025), special Keukenhof public transport buses run from several major cities and seaside resorts. Day trips are also offered from Amsterdam and there is a shuttle service from This is Holland (behind Centraal Station Amsterdam). The tulip fields and Keukenhof are also easily accessible by bicycle. From the cities Leiden and Haarlem and the seaside resorts Katwijk, Noordwijk and Zandvoort, it is easy to cycle to Keukenhof and the flower fields. Below the different cycle routes:
