The purple Keukenhof cycle route is 10 kilometres long and lets you enjoy the flower fields south of Keukenhof. During the cycle route you will pass the free show gardens of TulipStore.eu and Tulip Farm De Tulperij and you will cycle through the cosy centre of flower village Lisse.

The purple Keukenhof route is a cycle route of 10 kilometres. It is also possible to walk the route. This cycle route is free of charge and easy to follow. During the opening of Keukenhof Flower Park, this route can be cycled by following the special route signs. For this route you follow the purple route signs.

How long does this cycle route take?
The purple route is, with 10 km, a relatively short cycle route and can be cycled in about an hour. If you stop along the way at one of the Hop on Hop off locations, you can enjoy yourself all day.
When do the flower fields along this route bloom?
This cycle route can be cycled during the tulip season in spring. In 2025, this season starts on Thursday 20 March and lasts until Sunday 11 May. Hop on at Keukenhof Flower Park
The ideal starting point for this cycle route is Keukenhof flower park. You can park here all day for only € 10.00 and it is possible to rent a bike at Fietsverhuur Keukenhof. If you want to start at Keukenhof, make sure you buy your parking ticket and possibly a ticket for the flower park in advance. In 2025 there is a maximum number of visitors per day and per arrival time at Keukenhof. Keukenhof cycle tour with local guide
