From <strong>1 August to 11 October 2026<\/strong> the <a href=\"https:\/\/bollenstreek.nl\/dahlia-festival\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dahlia Festival<\/a> takes place and you can admire many <strong>summer flowers<\/strong> in the region. <strong>Dahlia show gardens<\/strong> in particular are becoming increasingly popular: in 2026 there are no fewer than five show gardens to visit. All show gardens are located in the Bollenstreek and combine perfectly with a visit to the beach, the dunes or the Dutch lake district. In 2026 the dahlia gardens are extra large, so you can enjoy the summer flowers even more with Keukenhof Castle in the background.
